Questions
Good to know
Yes, healing is very much at the heart of I Wish I Could Hate You. The book is structured around three stages of recovery after heartbreak: • Act I – For the Bleeding: Helps you survive the immediate pain of loss and understand why relationships break down. • Act II – For the Numb: Addresses emotional paralysis — for those who think they've moved on but are actually just "numb." It challenges the idea that indifference equals healing. • Act III – For the Brave: Guides you through rebuilding trust and opening yourself up again after being hurt. The book blends fiction with self-help, so you're not just reading advice — you experience the healing journey through the characters. It also includes an interactive journal section at the end where you can write your own thoughts and emotions, making it feel like an active therapy session. Readers have described it as a quiet companion for dark nights and a book that helps you understand why you held on, rather than simply telling you to move on.

What readers said
There are some books that entertain us, some that inspire us, and then there are a few rare books that quietly change the way we look at life and people around us. I Wish I Could Hate You belongs to the latter category. What impressed me the most was the author's extraordinary depth of understanding about life at such a young age. The maturity with which emotions, relationships, and personal struggles are explored is remarkable. Throughout the book, I often found myself pausing to reflect on certain lines and ideas because they felt so relatable and true. The author has an exceptional ability to put complex human emotions into simple words that resonate deeply with readers. I would strongly recommend this book to everyone, regardless of age, relationship status, or life situation. Whether you are going through a difficult phase, enjoying a happy chapter of your life, or simply looking for a meaningful read, this book has something valuable to offer. It is not a book exclusively for people dealing with heartbreak; it is a book for anyone who wants to better understand themselves and the people around them. In a world where we often rush to form opinions about others, I Wish I Could Hate You reminds us of the power of understanding, forgiveness, and empathy. It is a book that stays with you long after you have turned the last page. If you are considering reading this book, don't let the title mislead you. Pick it up with an open mind. You may start reading it for one reason, but you will finish it with lessons that extend far beyond heartbreak. It is a beautiful, thought-provoking read that has the potential to make you a better person and help you see people and life from a completely different perspective.
This book is soo soooo sooo special for me, first of all the title? Damnnn relatable and mannn the depth it had, literally the besttest read and the artworks really stole the show I mean how beautiful are they 😭🤌 totally in loveee with this 🥹💗
The book is a beautiful portrayal of heartbreak and healing. Story is written in a very poetic way that will stick to your mind and you'll come back to it always. According to me :- 10/10 for innovation or something new ( i mean the figures / sketches i have never seen something like that) 10/10 pace - finished it in a day 10/10 for quotes - very poetic honestly felt like some Rithwik Singh best sellers 7/10 story its basic usual the presentation makes the overall experience the best !!!
But no one really explains why you couldn’t in the first place. I Wish I Could Hate You is not just advice. It’s a story. A story where you’ll meet characters who love too much, stay too long, overthink everything, and break in ways they don’t understand. And somewhere between their choices and their silence, you’ll start seeing yourself. Because this isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about helping you understand you. Why you held on. Why you ignored the signs. Why even after everything, you still feel something. It’s not a typical self-help book. It’s a mirror. And whether you’re the one who stayed, the one who left, or the one still trying to make sense of it all… you’ll find yourself in these pages. Maybe that’s where healing actually begins.
